ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ مَنْ لَمْ يُحْكِمْ صِنَاعَةَ الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ يُضَادُّ خَبَرَ عَائِشَةَ الَّذِي تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لَهُ

ibnhibban:34Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Hudbah b. Khālid > Abān b. Yazīd al-ʿAṭṭār > Yaḥyá b. Abū Kathīr > Saʾalt Abū Salamah Ay al-Qurān Unzil Awwal > Yā Ayyuhā al-Muddathhir > Innī Nubbiʾt

[Machine] I asked Abu Salama which chapter of the Quran was revealed first? He said, "{O you who wraps himself [in clothing]}." I said, "I was informed that the first chapter revealed from the Quran was 'Recite in the name of your Lord who created'."  

ابن حبّان:٣٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَيُّ الْقُرْآنِ أُنْزِلَ أَوَّلَ؟ قَالَ {يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ} قُلْتُ إِنِّي نُبِّئْتُ أَنَّ أَوَّلَ سُورَةٍ أُنْزِلَتْ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ {اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ}
