[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Ubayy, "Indeed, I will recite a Surah to you." Ubayy then asked him, "Were you commanded to do so by Allah?" He replied, "Yes." So he recited the verse, "{Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from disbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - a Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures}" (Surah Al-Bayyinah, verse 2).  

الحاكم:٣٠١١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ التَّاجِرُ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الرَّهَاوِيُّ أَنْبَأَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأُبَيٍّ «إِنِّي أُقْرِئُكَ سُورَةً» فَقَالَ لَهُ أُبَيٌّ أُمِرْتَ بِذَاكَ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَقَرَأَ {لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً} [البينة 2]  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» محمد ضعفه الدارقطني
