[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ recited, "Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets." [Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 76]  

الحاكم:٢٩٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَرُوذِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَرْطِبَانِيُّ ابْنُ عَمِّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْجَحْدَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ {مُتَكِّئِينَ عَلَى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ} [الرحمن 76]  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» منقطع وعاصم لم يدرك أبا بكرة

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.  

Reclining, namely, their spouses (muttaki’īna, syntactically, it is as ˹described˺ above) upon green cushions (rafraf is the plural of rafrafa, which can mean ˹either˺ ‘carpets’ or ‘cushions’) and lovely druggets (‘abqariyyin, the plural of ‘abqariyya, which are velvet carpets).

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ  

{متكئين} أي أزواجهم وإعرابه كما تقدم {على رفرف خضر} جمع رفرفة، أي بسط أو وسائد {وعبقري حسان} جمع عبقرية، أي طنافس.
