[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say the Takbeer (proclaiming the greatness of Allah) seven times during the first Eid and five times during the second Eid, and he would commence the prayer before giving the sermon.  

الدارمي:١٦٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمُؤَذِّنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الْأُولَى سَبْعًا وَفِي الْأُخْرَى خَمْسًا وَكَانَ يَبْدَأُ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ»
