bukhari:1621 – Abū ʿĀṣim > Ibn Jurayj > Sulaymān al-Aḥwal > Ṭāwus > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Prophet ﷺ saw a man performing Tawaf of the Kaʿba tied with a string or something else. So the Prophet cut that string.  

البخاري:١٦٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَحْوَلِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِزِمَامٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَقَطَعَهُ

The Prophet ﷺ saw a man performing Tawaf around the Kaʿba, tied with a rope or something else (while another person was holding him). The Prophet ﷺ cut that rope off.
