[Machine] "I cannot inform you more than what I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do or this is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did. Then he mounted his ride and said to the boy, 'Where am I?' The boy replied, 'In front of the funeral.' He said, 'Has it not reached exhaustion?' And he had supposedly his sight withheld."  

البيهقي:٦٩٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الزُّوزَنِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ شَرِيكٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَجَرِيِّ قَالَ أَمَّنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَلَى جِنَازَةِ ابْنَتِهِ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا فَمَكَثَ سَاعَةً حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُكَبِّرُ خَمْسًا ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْنَا لَهُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ

إِنِّي لَا أَزِيدُكُمْ عَلَى مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ أَوْ هَكَذَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ دَابَّتَهَ وَقَالَ لِلْغُلَامِ أَيْنَ أَنَا؟ قَالَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَنْهَكَ وَكَانَ قَدْ كُفَّ يَعْنِي بَصَرُهُ
