[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Verily, the deceased is resurrected in the same clothes in which he died." Ibrahim An-Nakha'i said, "They used to prefer that he be faced towards the Qiblah (direction of prayer) when the deceased was brought."

البيهقي:٦٦٠٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ الْعَدْلُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْقَاضِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنبأ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ دَعَا بِثِيَابٍ جُدُدٍ فَلَبِسَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي يَمُوتُ فِيهَا قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ كَانُوا يَسْتَحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلُوا بِهِ الْقِبْلَةَ يَعْنِي إِذَا حُضِرَ الْمَيِّتُ
