[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at a funeral; when we reached the grave, he exhorted upon the grave and I turned and faced him; so he wept until the ground became wet and then he said, "My brothers, prepare for a day like this."

البيهقي:٦٥١٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُوحٍ مِنْ أَوْلَادِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ بِالْكُوفَةِ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي جِنَازَةٍ؛ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ حَثَا عَلَى الْقَبْرِ فَاسْتَدَرْتُ فَاسْتَقْبَلْتُهُ؛ فَبَكَى حَتَّى بَلَّ الثَّرَى ثُمَّ قَالَ إِخْوَانِي لِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَأَعِدُّوا
