[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the five daily prayers is like a river flowing at the door of one of you in which he washes five times a day." Al-Hasan said, "What is left of that river is the wording of the hadith of Abu Mu'awiya." And in the hadith of Ya'la bin 'Ubaid, it is added, "So what remains of its dirt?"  

البيهقي:٤٩٧٢وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ بِلَالٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ثنا الْأَعْمَشُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَثْلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ كَمَثَلِ نَهْرٍ جَارٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ وَمَا يُبْقِي ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدَّرَنِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَفِي حَدِيثِ يَعْلَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ أَدْرَجَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ فَمَاذَا يَبْقَى مِنْ دَرَنِهِ؟  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ
