[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take a handful of water and pour it upon himself.  

البيهقي:٤١٣٣أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُوَاءَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ فِيمَا يَفِيضُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْخُذُ كَفًّا مِنْ مَاءٍ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّهُ عَلَيْهِ
