[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , lying down in the mosque, with one of his legs raised upon the other. Al-Zuhri said: Sa'id bin Al-Musayyib informed me, meaning from 'Umar and 'Uthman, that they both witnessed it and it was not something uncommon for either of them. Al-Zuhri said: And the people came with a great matter.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُسْتَلْقِيًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ رَافِعًا إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَعْنِي عَنْ عُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ بِذَلِكَ وَكَانَ لَا يُحْصِي ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمَا قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَجَاءَ النَّاسُ بِأَمْرٍ عَظِيمٍ
