Ziyād > Abū Hurayrah > Abū al-Qāsim ﷺ > Amā Yakhshá Allāh al--Adhī Yarfaʿ Raʾsah Wa-al-Imām Sājid > Yajʿal Allāh Raʾsah Raʾs Ḥimār

[Machine] I heard Abu al-Qasim ﷺ saying, "Doesn't the one who raises his head while the imam is in prostration fear Allah? Wouldn't Allah make his head like the head of a donkey?" Shu'bah said in his narration or depiction of his words, "like the depiction of a donkey."

البيهقي:٢٦٠٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْجُدِّيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَشُعْبَةُ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَمَا يَخْشَى اللهَ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ وَالْإِمَامُ سَاجِدٌ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَوْ صُورَتَهُ صُورَةَ حِمَارٍ

أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْحَمَّادَيْنِ
