[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who gathered them and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Learn the Quran, and when you have learned it, do not exaggerate in it, do not abandon it, do not use it as a means of worldly gains, and do not seek abundance through it.'" And he mentioned the rest of the hadith 2271. The Sheikh, Imam Abu Tayyib Sahl bin Muhammad bin Sulaiman informed us that Abu Amr Ismail bin Nujaid narrated to us that Muhammad bin Ayyub al-Bajali informed him that Sahl bin Bakkar narrated to him from Aban bin Yazid from Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Zaid bin Abi Salam from Abu Salam from Abu Rashid al-Hubrani from Abdur Rahman bin Shibl that the Prophet ﷺ said, and he mentioned it in the same manner.  

سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَمَعَهُمْ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَعَلِّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِذَا عَلِمْتُمُوهُ فَلَا تَغْلُوا فِيهِ وَلَا تَجْفُوا عَنْهُ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَسْتَكْثِرُوا بِهِ وَذَكَرَ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ 2271 حَدَّثَنَاهُ الشَّيْخُ الْإِمَامُ أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ سَهْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرٍو إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَجَلِيُّ أنبأ سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ الْحُبْرَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
