[Machine] I heard Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri saying, "The middle prayer is the Dhuhr prayer." He said, "Then Ibn Umar passed by us and Urwah said, 'Send to Ibn Umar and ask him.' So, we sent a boy to him and he asked him. Then the messenger came and he said, 'It is the Dhuhr prayer.' So, we doubted the statement of the young boy and we all went to Ibn Umar and asked him, and he said, 'It is the Dhuhr prayer.'"  

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ يَقُولُ صَلَاةُ الْوُسْطَى هِيَ صَلَاةُ الظُّهْرِ قَالَ فَمَرَّ عَلَيْنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ أَرْسِلُوا إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَسَلُوهُ فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِ غُلَامًا فَسَأَلَهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ الرَّسُولُ فَقَالَ هِيَ صَلَاةُ الظُّهْرِ فَشَكَكْنَا فِي قَوْلِ الْغُلَامِ فَقُمْنَا جَمِيعًا فَذَهَبْنَا إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ هِيَ الظُّهْرُ
