[Machine] "Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Abdullah al-Susi informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas informed us, Sa'id ibn Uthman al-Tanukhi informed us, Bishr ibn Bakr narrated to me, who said: Al-Awza'i informed me, who said: Abu al-Najashi informed me, who said: Rifa'a ibn Khadij narrated, he said: We used to pray the Asr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then the animals were slaughtered and divided into ten portions, then we would cook and eat well-cooked meat before the sun would set."  

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ السُّوسِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ التَّنُوخِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ تُنْحَرُ الْجَزُورُ فَتُقْسَمُ عَشْرَ قِسَمٍ ثُمَّ نَطْبُخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ
