[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the Dhuhr prayer in the winter and we do not know whether the day was longer or shorter. This indicates the difference between winter and summer in terms of prayer times. And it is correct that Bakr ibn Abdullah al-Muzani delayed it in the heat, except that he did not delay it until its last time. They used to find the burning heat of the sand and pebbles along with the delay. And Allah knows best.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ فِي أَيَّامِ الشِّتَاءِ وَمَا نَدْرِي مَا مَضَى مِنَ النَّهَارِ أَكْثَرَ أَوْ مَا بَقِيَ وَفِي هَذَا إِنْ صَحَّ كَالدِّلَالَةِ عَلَى الْفَرْقِ بَيْنَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ فِي وَقْتِ صَلَاتِهِ ﷺ وَأَنَّ خَبَرَ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ مَحْمُولٌ عَلَى أَنَّهُ أَخَّرَهَا فِي الْحَرِّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُبْلَغْ بِتَأْخِيرِهَا آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا فَكَانُوا يَجِدُونَ مَعَ التَّأْخِيرِ حَرَّ الرِّمَالِ وَالْبَطْحَاءِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
