[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not care what I consume, whether I drink poison, wear amulets, or recite poetry, as long as it is not for showing off. Ibn Sirin narrated that he disliked consuming poison because snakes are made from it." Imam Ahmed said, "Due to this meaning, al-Shafi'i disliked eating poison made from snake meat, except in cases of necessity where eating carrion is permissible."
