[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you hear the caller to prayer, and then the reciter tells us about Saeed ibn Abi Ayoub, and Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz narrated to us, and Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, and Muhammad ibn Ismail narrated to us, and Muhammad ibn Salama Al-Muradi narrated to us, and Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated from Haywah and Saeed ibn Abi Ayoub, and others narrated from Ka'b ibn 'Alqamah, he mentioned it with its isnad (chain of narrators), and its meaning. And he said, 'And I hope that I am the one (referred to in the narration), so whoever asks for my intercession, it will be granted to him.'"  

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ 1932 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمُرَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ حَيْوَةَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَغَيْرِهِمَا عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ فَمَنْ سَأَلَ لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ حَلَّتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي
