[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur Rahman." This is a wording from the hadith of Abu Abdullah, and it is not found in the sayings of the others, which are called "Sabalan" or "At-Tareekh."

البيهقي:١٩٣٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي بِنَيْسَابُورَ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ فِرَاسٍ بِمَكَّةَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ سَبَلَانُ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَأَخُوهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بِمَكَّةَ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَمِائَةٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ أَسْمَائِكُمْ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ الْبَاقِينَ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ سَبَلَانُ وَلَا التَّارِيخُ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ
