[Machine] Abdullah said, "Indeed, the polytheists kept the Prophet ﷺ occupied from four prayers on the day of the trench, until the night went by as Allah willed. So he commanded Bilal to give the call to prayer and establish the prayer. He prayed Dhuhr, then established Asr, then established Maghrib, then established Isha."  

البيهقي:١٨٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ جَنَاحُ بْنُ نَذِيرِ بْنِ جَنَاحِ الْقَاضِي بِالْكُوفَةِ أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ثنا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ شَغَلُوا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ أَرْبَعِ صَلَوَاتٍ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ هَكَذَا  

رَوَاهُ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ هُشَيْمِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ وَرَوَاهُ هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ وَاخْتُلِفَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْأَذَانِ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ حَفِظَهُ عَنْهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ يَحْفَظْهُ وَرَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ فَقَالَ يُتَابِعُ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا بِإِقَامَةٍ إِقَامَةٍ

"The idolaters kept Messenger of Allah distracted from four prayers on the Day of Al-Khandaq (the battle of the Trench) until as much as Allah willed of the night had passed. So he ordered Bilal to call the Adhan, then he called the Iqamah to Zuhr, then he called the Iqamah to pray Asr, then he called the Iqamah to pray Maghrib, then he called the Iqamah to pray Isha."  

الترمذي:١٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ بَأْسٌ إِلاَّ أَنَّ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ الَّذِي اخْتَارَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي الْفَوَائِتِ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ إِذَا قَضَاهَا وَإِنْ لَمْ يُقِمْ أَجْزَأَهُ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ
