[Machine] He is called Ibn Al-Hayban, so he stayed with us and by Allah, we have never seen a man who does not pray the five prayers better than him. He came to us two years before the message of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Whenever we suffered from drought and rain became scarce, we would say to him, "O Ibn Al-Hayban, go out and supplicate for rain for us." He would say, "No, I swear by Allah, until you give charity before you leave." We would ask, "How much should we give?" He would say, "A sa' of dates or a measurement of barley." Then he would go out to a high point in our land and we would be with him, and he would supplicate for rain. By Allah, he would not leave his gathering until the valleys overflowed with water. He did that not once, not twice, not three times. Then his death came, and we gathered around him. He said, "O Jewish people, what do you think? He has taken me out from the land of wine and intoxication to the land of hardship and hunger?" We said, "You know best." He said, "Indeed, He has taken me out because I anticipated the coming out of a Prophet, and this land is the place of his Hijrah. I will follow him, so do not precede him when he comes out, O Jewish people, because he will shed blood, take captives, and enslave women of those who oppose him. Do not let that prevent you from following him." Then he died. On the night when the Battle of the Trench started, those three young men, who were young and active, said to the Jewish people, "Remember Ibn Al-Hayban?" They asked, "What about him?" They said, "Yes, by Allah, it is him, O Jewish people. He is truly him in appearance." Then they descended and embraced Islam, abandoning their wealth, children, and families. Their wealth was in the fortress with the polytheists, and when it was conquered, it was returned to them.
