البيهقي:١٧٩٢٠ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا ابْنُ عُثْمَانَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ أَنَّ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ تَرَجَّلَ يَوْمَ كَذَا فَقَالَ لَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ لَا تَفْعَلْ فَإِنَّ قَتْلَكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ شَدِيدٌ فَقَالَ
