[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, the fortune tellers may tell us something that is true." He said, "That statement is part of the truth. However, the jinn takes hold of it and throws it into the ear of his friend, adding to it more than a hundred lies."  

البيهقي:١٦٥١١ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الْكُهَّانَ قَدْ يُحَدِّثُونَنَا بِالشَّيْءِ فَيَكُونُ حَقًّا قَالَ تِلْكَ الْكَلِمَةُ مِنَ الْحَقِّ يَخْطَفُهَا الْجِنِّيُّ فَيَقْذِفُهَا فِي أُذُنِ وَلِيِّهِ فَيَزِيدُ فِيهَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مِائَةِ كِذْبَةٍ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ
