[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Makkah for three days during the Umrah al-Qadaa (the compensatory Umrah). When the third day came, they said to Ali ibn Abi Talib, "This is the last day according to the condition of your companion, so tell him to leave." Ali informed him about it, and he responded, "Yes," and he left.  

البيهقي:١٥٧٦٩كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فِي عُمْرَةِ الْقَضَاءِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْيَوْمُ الثَّالِثُ قَالُوا لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ إِنَّ هَذَا آخِرُ يَوْمٍ مِنْ شَرْطِ صَاحِبِكَ فَمُرْهُ فَلْيَخْرُجْ فَحَدَّثَهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ فَخَرَجَ
