[Machine] He marries more than four, then he is responsible for the same obligations as his mother and sister. We have narrated from Ubaydah As-Salmani in his statement in the verse {the Book of Allah is upon you} [An-Nisa 4:24]. He said, "Four women." Likewise, it was narrated from Al-Hasan Al-Basri.  

البيهقي:١٣٨٤٨ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ {وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ كِتَابَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ} [النساء 24] قَالَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ

يَتَزَوَّجَ فَوْقَ أَرْبَعٍ فَإِنْ فَعَلَ فَهِيَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ أُمِّهِ وَأُخْتِهِ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {كِتَابَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ} [النساء 24] قَالَ أَرْبَعُ نِسْوَةٍ وَكَذَلِكَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ
