[Machine] I heard that Anas ibn Malik said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ captured Safiyyah and then freed her and married her. Thabit al-Bunani said to Anas, "Did she really accept it?" He replied, "Indeed, she accepted it herself. He freed her and married her."  

البيهقي:١٣٧٤٢ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَحْمَوَيْهِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَلَانِسِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ نا شُعْبَةُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ يَقُولُ سَبَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَفِيَّةَ فَأَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا قَالَ ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ لِأَنَسٍ مَا أَصْدَقَهَا؟ قَالَ أَصْدَقَهَا نَفْسَهَا أَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ آدَمَ 13743 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْقَاضِي أَحْمَدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبِرْتِيَّ يَقُولُ سَأَلْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَكْثَمَ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ هَذَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَاصَّةً قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَيُذْكَرُ هَذَا أَيْضًا عَنِ الْمُزَنِيِّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ لِلشَّافِعِيِّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ فَحَمَلَهُ عَلَى التَّخْصِيصِ وَمَوْضِعُ التَّخْصِيصِ أَنَّهُ أَعْتَقَهَا مُطْلَقًا ثُمَّ تَزَوَّجَهَا عَلَى غَيْرِ مَهْرٍ وَنِكَاحُ غَيْرِهِ لَا يَخْلُو مِنْ مَهْرٍ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
