[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that he forbade the sale of an animal in exchange for another animal of lesser value.  

البيهقي:١٠٥٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أنبأ سَعِيدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْحَيَوَانِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ نَسِيئَةً وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَكْثَرَ الْحُفَّاظِ لَا يُثْبِتُونَ سَمَاعَ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ مِنْ سَمُرَةَ فِي غَيْرِ حَدِيثِ الْعَقِيقَةِ وَحَمَلَهُ بَعْضُ الْفُقَهَاءِ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَحَدِهِمَا بِالْآخَرِ نَسِيئَةً مِنَ الْجَانِبَيْنِ فَيَكُونُ دَيْنًا بِدَيْنٍ فَلَا يَجُوزُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ
