[Machine] Indeed, Abdullah bin Uthaba wrote to Abdullah bin al-Arqam, commanding him to enter upon Subay'ah bint al-Harith and ask her about what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had taught her. She claimed that she had been under the guardianship of Saad ibn Khawla, so he mentioned the matter.  

أحمد:٢٧٤٣٦حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ قَالَ

إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ يَأْمُرُهُ أَنْيَدْخُلَ عَلَى سُبَيْعَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ يَسْأَلُهُمَا عَمَّا أَفْتَاهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَزَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَحْتَ سَعْدِ ابْنِ خَوْلَةَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
