[Machine] "And he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from selling gold for paper as it is usury, and he informed us that this is riba."  

أحمد:١٦٢٥٢حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَشْتَرُونَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً إِلَى الْعَطَاءِ فَأَتَى عَلَيْهِمْ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ فَنَهَاهُمْ

وَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا أَنْ نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً وَأَنْبَأَنَا أَوْ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited selling gold for paper currency, considering it sinful. He informed us that this is, indeed, usury.

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْوَرِقِ نَسِيئَةً وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الرِّبَا
