I was with ‘Umar b. al-Khattab when he transmitted this tradition. The tradition of Malik is more perfect.

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَحَدِيثُ مَالِكٍ أَتَمُّ
