abudawud:3109 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Abū Dāwud > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: No one of you should wish for death. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition in a similar manner.  

أبو داود:٣١٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَتَمَنَّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
