abudawud:2045al-Qaʿnabī > Mālik Lā Yanbaghī Lʾaḥad

One should not exceed al-Mu'arras when one returns to Medina until one prays there as much as one wishes, for I have been informed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ halted there at night. Abu Dawud said: I heard Muhammad b. Ishaq al-Madini say: Al-Mu'arras lies at a distance of six miles from Medina.  

أبو داود:٢٠٤٥حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ

أَنْ يُجَاوِزَ الْمُعَرَّسَ إِذَا قَفَلَ رَاجِعًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهَا مَا بَدَا لَهُ لأَنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَرَّسَ بِهِ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَدَنِيَّ قَالَ الْمُعَرَّسُ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَمْيَالٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ
