Mu'awiyah said to the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ: Do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited from doing so and so (and he prohibited from) riding on the skins of leopards? They said: Yes. He again said: You know that he prohibited combining hajj and umrah. They replied: This we do not (know). He said: This was prohibited along with other things, but you forgot.
لأَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ هَلْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَعَنْ رُكُوبِ جُلُودِ النُّمُورِ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ يُقْرَنَ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَقَالُوا أَمَّا هَذَا فَلاَ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهَا مَعَهُنَّ وَلَكِنَّكُمْ نَسِيتُمْ
