Ibn ʿUmr used to seat his slave girl called Safiyyah behind him(on the Camel) and thus she travelled to Makkah in his company.

يُقَالُ لَهَا صَفِيَّةُ تُسَافِرُ مَعَهُ إِلَى مَكَّةَ
