TABARANI 3635:
from Khabbāb Naʿūduh And Qad Āktawá Sabʿ Kayyāt —
[Machine] We entered the workshop of a blacksmith who was suffering from the burning of seven boils. He said, "Indeed, our predecessors who came before us left this world and nothing from it has diminished them. And indeed, we have experienced what comes after them, and we have found no place for it except the dust." He then added, "We came back to him later as he was building a wall for himself, and he said, 'Indeed, a Muslim is rewarded for everything he spends except for something that he puts in the dust. And if it wasn't for the fact that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited or dissuaded us from praying for death, I would have prayed for it.'"
