Allah ﷻ ˹audits˺ his creation during the night of the middle of ˹month of ˺ Shaʿbān then forgives those seeking forgiveness and pardons those who are repenting, leaves the people of hate in their hatefulness, and forgives ˹others˺ except for the one who associates partners with Him or one filled with malice."

«يَطْلُعُ اللَّهُ تَبارَكَ وتَعالى عَلى خَلْقِهِ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِن شَعْبانَ فَيَغْفِرُ لِلْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ ويَتُوبُ عَلى التّائِبِينَ ويَدَعُ أهْلَ الحِقْدِ بِحِقْدِهِمْ، فَيَغْفِرُ إلّا لِمُشْرِكٍ أوْ مُشاحِنٍ۔»
