The Prophet ﷺ had forbidden the sale of fruits till they were ripe (free from blight).

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهَا
