AHMAD 9264:
from Muḥammad b. Ziyād Qālasamiʿt Abū Hurayrah —
[Machine] Abu Huraira said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When food that does not belong to his family is brought to him, he would ask about it. If he was told that it was a gift, he would eat it. And if he was told that it was charity, he would say, 'Eat and do not eat.'"
أحمد ٩٢٦٤:
عن محمد بن زياد قالسمعت ابو هريره —
قَالَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ سَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَإِنْ قِيلَ هَدِيَّةٌ أَكَلَ وَإِنْ قِيلَ صَدَقَةٌ قَالَ كُلُوا وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ
