from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Fasting is a shield and a well-fortified fortress ˹protecting˺ from the Hellfire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ وَحِصْنٌ حَصِينٌ مِنَ النَّارِ».
