The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had himself cupped when he was fasting and wearing ihram (pilgrim garb).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ
